Knowledge connects across subjects.
Teachers create interdisciplinary links so students use reading, math, science, history, art, and technology to investigate the same big ideas from different angles. One unit has students writing a classroom constitution with elected leaders. Another has them engineering a container to keep an ice cube from melting.

Math and science
Singapore Math builds true conceptual understanding, while experiments and tools such as Snap Circuits make scientific thinking tangible.

Technology
Students learn research, presentation, first coding concepts, internet safety, and responsible technology use as part of their academic work.

Arts, Spanish, and theater
Spanish begins in first grade, art history runs from da Vinci to Warhol, and every class stages a musical in the Starbright Theater.
It's rare to find a balanced school that does a good tradeoff between strong academics and children's well-being, but I think that Starbright does it very well.

Our third grader attended Starbright for preschool, then went to a [local] public school for kindergarten and first grade, and then returned to Starbright for second and third.

Questions parents ask
Which grades does the elementary program serve?
Starbright Elementary serves grades one through three at Campbell Campus, building directly on the school's preschool and kindergarten programs.
What subjects are included?
Students study language arts, Singapore Math, science, history and geography, technology, Spanish beginning in first grade, art and art history, music, theater, and physical education.
Is there homework?
A supervised Study Hall gives students time to finish their schoolwork at school, so most of it is done by pickup and much less comes home.
How does technology fit into the program?
Technology is taught as a tool for research, creation, coding, and problem solving, alongside direct discussion of privacy, internet safety, and responsible use.
What does tuition cost?
For the 2026-2027 academic year, elementary tuition is $33,800. The full day and four meals daily are included. Optional Enrichment Programs are available for an additional fee. Our admissions team can answer questions about tuition and enrollment. View all tuition and Enrichment Program rates.
What happens after grade three?
Students move on to their next school prepared and confident. Starbright graduates have a long record of strong transitions, and teachers support families through the step.
Can my family visit before applying?
Yes. A tour of Campbell Campus gives you the opportunity to meet the team, understand the curriculum, and ask grade-specific questions.
What happens after I request a tour?
Your request is saved before you choose a tour time. You can choose from the available tour times or ask Starbright to arrange the visit with you. Requests received Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 3 PM typically receive a personal response within a few hours. Requests that arrive outside those hours are answered the next school day.
