What your family gets

A year for language, friendships, and growing independence.

Three-year-olds are ready to do more for themselves and understand more about the world around them. Teachers connect early academics with play, creativity, movement, and daily social-emotional practice.

01

Talk, listen, and tell

Stories, rhymes, songs, questions, and conversation build vocabulary, listening, speaking, and the confidence to share an idea.

02

Letters, numbers, and patterns

Hands-on games develop reading readiness, beginning phonics, counting, number sense, visual discrimination, and logical thinking.

03

Friendship skills

Students practice naming feelings, taking turns, helping, cooperating, solving conflicts, and participating as part of a group.

04

Creative confidence

Daily music, art, dramatic play, movement, and outdoor time give three-year-olds many ways to express what they are learning.

Come see it in person

Meet the teachers for three-year-olds at our Cupertino/West San Jose campus.

Our cozy Cupertino/West San Jose campus is on Albany Drive. Its family-like atmosphere makes it an especially welcoming setting for a child beginning preschool. In 2025, we thoughtfully reimagined the campus around how young children learn. The three-year-old classroom is light, calm, and thoughtfully arranged, with welcoming spaces for conversation, play, movement, and hands-on discovery. Tour the classroom, meet the teachers, and discover how a Starbright day turns a three-year-old's curiosity into confidence.

Questions parents ask

What does Starbright offer for three-year-olds?

Our preschool program gives three-year-olds a balanced day of language, early literacy and math readiness, social-emotional learning, art, music, movement, outdoor play, meals, and rest.

How does the program support friendships and independence?

Teachers help students name feelings, practice empathy, take turns, solve small conflicts, care for their belongings, and participate confidently in the classroom.

How academic is the program?

Learning is purposeful and age-appropriate. Lessons run in 20- to 30-minute blocks and use stories, conversation, games, puzzles, art, and hands-on materials rather than pressure or drills.

What are the hours and attendance options?

Starbright is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Families may choose three, four, or five days per week and may drop off and pick up within the full-day hours.

How big are the classes?

Every classroom has two teachers. Across the school, classes average 18 students, about nine per teacher, so each student is known and looked after.

Are meals and rest included?

Yes. Students receive four meals daily, including a hot lunch prepared that day. They also change into pajamas and rest in individual beds after lunch.

How is tuition structured?

Choose a three-, four-, or five-day preschool schedule. For the 2026-2027 school year, tuition is $2,774 per month for five days, $2,455 for four days, or $1,830 for three days. Every schedule includes the full day from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and four meals daily. Optional Enrichment Programs are available for an additional fee. View all tuition and Enrichment Program rates.

What happens after I request a tour?

Your request is saved before you choose a tour time. You can choose from the available tour times or ask Starbright to arrange the visit with you. Requests received Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 3 PM typically receive a personal response within a few hours. Requests that arrive outside those hours are answered the next school day.

Looking back, Starbright was probably our best decision.
